In this talk, I will report the recent progress on a well-known nonlinear boundary value problem. This problem is closely related to sharp trace inequality and geometric description of the mean curvature on the boundary among its conformal deformations. The method used is the negative gradient flow.
报告人简介：
徐兴旺教授，新加坡国立大学教授，南京大学兼职特聘教授。分别于南京大学(1982,1984)、University of Connecticut(1989)获得学士、硕士和博士学位。徐兴旺教授是偏微分方程和几何分析的专家，在积分方程、曲率流、流形上的偏微分方程等领域作出一系列有国际影响的重要研究工作。任丛书Series on Partial Differential Equations and Applications (World Scientific)编委；学术期刊International Journal of Mathematics and Statistics（IJMS）编委；曾任多个国际学术会议联合主席。在Invent. Math., J. Funct. Anal., Advances in Math., Duke J. Math., 等期刊发表论文30余篇。
